about

Life is never more intense than when you’re really living it again after a long period of dormancy. When you have found your way up out of the winding subterranean corridors and into the light and you can lift your head up and shake the dust from your eyes. When you stand up tall on two feet and the sun casts a long shadow behind you.

The Swiss singer and musician Timothy Jaromir is back with “Rabbit Hole” after a three-year break. He may have spent some of that time down rabbit holes, but alongside that he also went on a release tour with his Americana duo "Goldschatz" and spent many hours composing new songs in the studio. His current release is a first sign of life and provides insight into a person who took a wrong turn and came out the other side full of confidence and hope.

It doesn’t matter where you have been, a piece of your past always stays with you: it is part of you. From now on, those stony paths have their own bittersweet vitality. There will be memories for those who have returned and stories for those who are just starting out.

“Rabbit Hole” will be released on the 19th of August in a studio version with a full band and at the same time in an acoustic version as a bonus track. After all, there is one thing we can say for sure about rabbit holes: there will always be more sneaking out than you think ...
