Four Reinventions

Since the release of the EP "Pacific Gold” last year, these songs have come a long way. They’ve been across the country countless times at international world renowned music festivals, they’ve seen television airplay through music videos on SRF, MTV and JOIZ and have even seen the German Radio charts.

But the story of "Pacific Gold" has by no means come to an end. Four international remix artists have reinvented the EP. Though Timothy Jaromir’s voice, melodies and the essence of the songs still fully present, there can be no talk of Folk-Pop, Blues or Rock now. The remix of the omnipresent Pablo Nouvelle reminds us of electro soul in the league of a James Blake or SOHN and as we vibe to the beats of the Canadian duo BLOCKBUSTER we just can’t stop our bodies from moving.

It would be easy to get used to this new facet of Timothy Jaromir, but only the Zürich based songwriter knows which direction that the new album will head when he records it this year. We’ll just have to wait in anticipation.
